CITY POOL
Newly renovated and fabulous! Located right on the main highway, the Floydada pool is easily accessible. Opens the end of May. Pool hours are Tuesday- Sunday 12 to 5 closed on Monday’s.
The pool is available for rental from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and 8 pm to 10 pm Tuesday- Sunday
Starting June 14th we will have Family Night on Thursday’s 6 to 8.
The entry fee is $3.75 12 to 5 and $2.50 on family nights.

CAPROCK CANYONS STATE PARK
The park offers day-use and camping facilities; hiking; horseback riding; mountain bike riding; boating on a no-wake lake (120-surface-acres, 30' when full); fishing; a scenic drive; guided tours; and seasonal concessions offering horse rentals. The multi-use trail (hike, bike, and equestrian), opened in 1993, stretches the park through Floyd, Briscoe, and Hall counties. The 64.25 miles of the Trailway is open to the public from South Plains.

FLOYD COUNTY HISTORIAL MUSEUM
The museum houses exhibits and genealogical records for Floyd County, Texas. Included in our collection are artifacts from the 1540 Coronado Expedition, which were discovered at the Jimmy Owens Site in Blanco Canyon. We have an extensive genealogy library for Floyd county and the nation. Our photographic collection (over 3,800 photos) has been scanned into a computer allowing visitors to search and print photos that are of interest.
AREA HUNTING
Every year, Floyd County is host to several avid hunters looking for opportunities to bag a choice game. Hunters can find game such as white-tailed deer, mule deer, turkey, pheasant, quail, and dove. Bag limits and open season dates are regularly maintained by the State of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Be sure to visit the site for more information regarding hunting options in Floyd County.
ASSITER PUNKIN RANCH
Come visit the famous Assiter Punkin Ranch! You are sure to be the envy of your neighborhood with its wide variety and fun colors. Other than the punkin patch we have our mini petting zoo for the kid's entertainment, which include: big horses, mini horses, big donkeys, mini donkeys, big dogs, little puppies, big goats, baby goats, and even a cat that will come around time to time. Fall fun for the whole family! About 7 miles south of Floydada, right on the Ralls Highway.
